In sections 2 and 4.7 I'm not sure if we have to test MAC OSX and the
CIFS client for Linux. I don't really know if they support DFS, but
they probably do.

In section 3, Why is it a resource constraint to test 400 logical name
spaces? These are just names, like CIFS shares, in the cluster DB.
There is no requirement that they point to separate volumes or CIFS
shares or even directory trees on real volumes.

In 4.1 you need to test our GNS objects being accessed as a targets of
another GNS. This other GNS could be in another onstor cluster, of a
Windows domain-based DFS.

In 4.3 bullet 3 we need to verify that client-side caching works on
windows clients when a drive is mapped to a GNS root, or virtual dir, or
junction, or child of a junction. This includes testing synchronization
after a network disconnect and when there are offline file edits to be
committed.

In 4.4 bullet 1 you have a statement that conflicts with 4.5 bullet 2.
I'm not even sure why 4.5 is present in this test plan. You need to tie
it into what GNS feature depends on those limits.

The items below may be deferred for your detailed test plan:

In 4 add a test to make sure that VSD does not leak memory over time and
that it can handle a lot of CIFS clients accessing the GNS namespace for
the first time in parallel across as many virtual servers as you can.
Think of this as the mount storm equivalent for GNS. The best test is
to have a bunch of virtual directories and junctions and have the
clients all try to lookup the up the first time in parallel, but across
as many virtual servers as you can.

In 4 we may need to add a test wherein we verify alternate path
selection for a client between a local and remote choice. Say a
junction points to a local vsvr share and a remote one. I am going to
try to direct clients to the one that is closest to them based on IP
address. This cannot always be done, since we are not supporting
Windows Active Directory Sites but would be a good thing if the client
subnet matches one of the choices for vsvr.

In 4 we need to verify that the Explorer DFS tab works as expected.
